Set the Table Cooking Classes
NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2011
How exactly are we going to accomplish such lofty goals in 3 hours? By keeping our class size small. You'll be sharing Set The Table's Kitchen with only up to 7 other students. This allows us to give every student the necessary attention and plenty of hands-on practice. There are no observers in this kitchen! Everyone gets to slice, dice, poach, roast, braise, and bake. And of course, everyone gets to taste. Each class finishes dining on the fabulous meal you created.
Classes are $90 each, payable by cash of check.
Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing.

Mixed Green salad with a baked goat cheese and balsamic raspberry vinaigrette
lemon risotto with asparagus tips
Filet mignon with wild mushroom wine sauce
individual molten cakes with crème anglaise

Fish is an excellent source of protein and vitamins. Learn different techniques in preparing fish and seafood to add into your daily diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In this class be prepared to make Fish en papiotte, poach salmon with cucumber dill sauce, trout in almonds, Mediterranean snapper Note: the dishes vary based on the season and availability of ingredients.
